The deep, midnight color of the 2010 Red Stitch Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon reveals much about this structured gem. Emanating notes of cassis, lavender, caramel and spiced chocolate, this rich wine uncovers the complexity associated with classic Napa Cabernets. Yet, it bows to the “old-world” with undertones of dark fruit, dried herbs, slate, graphite and river stone. Structured with soft-tannins true to Red Stitch form, this Cabernet is beautifully balanced and bold but very approachable.
Rated an "Outstanding" 93 points by Wine Spectator who noted the following:
"A charming, graceful expression of Cabernet, smooth-textured and focused on a core of dark berry, cedary oak and dried and light roasted herb. Most impressive for its texture and length. The fine-grained tannins have a nice grip, making this fun to drink now but worthy of short-term cellaring." - James Laube, Wine Spectator
