Noteworthy California Wines- Wine Spectator
September 19, 2011 - This week we’ve found something for everyone, from crisp sparklers to a classy Chardonnay, delicious Napa Valley Cabernets, Zinfandel, Syrah, some tasty red blends and even a couple of rosés.

At the top of the list is a quintet of outstanding wines, including Red Stitch, a Napa Valley Cabernet founded by a pair of former San Francisco Giants—Rich Aurilia and Dave Roberts—along with their wives, Raquel and Tricia, and John and Noelle Micek. This is no vanity project, as the six owners are passionate about wine, and this second vintage is just as delicious as the first - aromatic and dense.

Red Stitch 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon was rated 90 points by Wine Spectator.
